The civic association SEMAK was founded in august 2003 with the mission for improving the socio-economic development, protection of the environment and national culture. Through the years we have recognize the need for economical growth with achieving european standards and innovative reforms in entrepreneurship, designing from family –businesses to small and medium companies.

We are supporting  potential entrepreneurship, especially young unemployed and women from rural area. Also we are promoting and improving  the quality and quantity of agricultural production, helping to create jobs in rural areas, decreasing the migration from villages to the cities, returning population in the rural areas, with special attention to to the environmental aspect, renewable energy, smart business and climate change.

We have also contributed for strengthening the municipalities in Pelagonia region.

SEMAK achieve the following projects:

USAID grants:

“There is no difference when we are together” for socio – economic cohesion 2008-2009 Grant from CCI (Center for Civic Initiatives Prilep realized by a re -grant from USAID),6000 dollars

Other grants:

SEMAK is currently volunteering on designing a draft Strategy for reforms in agriculture by encouraging SMEs in agribusiness, creating jobs and exploiting opportunities from government and grants.

March 2015- September 2015- workshops and counseling for IPARD, donations from the public sector.

July 2013- October 2014 AITOLOS Draft PE Macedonian Forests, funded by IPA cross-border cooperation, Macedonia Greece from 2007 to 2013 (Semak participated in develop of the application, and implementation)

January 2012 – MAY 2013- engagements of Public Enterprises for Development of IPA applications (PHI Demir Hisar Hospital Borka Taleski Prilep, Bitola Kliment Ohridski University, Museum, Institute and Gallery Prilep, Municipality Drugovo, Veles, Kicevo, Novaci, Mogila).
